1) Sax's father was an instrument designer who made many improvements to the French horn. Adolphe followed in his footsteps and began to design his own instruments at a young age.
2) Adolphe Sax was born and lived in Belgium, a country in Europe near Germany and France. In his 20's, Sax moved to Paris, France.
3) Clarinet and flute were the instruments Sax learned to play in school.
