One of Holst's most famous musical works is a collection called "The Planets", each piece being based on one of the planets in our solar system. Two of our Circle Songs this month are by Holst - Mars: Bringer of War and Jupiter: Bringer of Jollity. We moved to these songs as a warm up and discussed how similar Mars is to John Williams' famous "Imperial March" from Star Wars.
